One of the ancestors of Kamala Harris was probably Irish

Though the media reports usually mention that the US vice president Kamala Harris is Asian and African American, some reports indicate that she is also partly Irish. Her father Donald Harris, originally from Jamaica, has mentioned in an article that the Irish attorney, sugar plantation and slave owner Hamilton Brown was one of his ancestors.
